6th Annual Role of Cardiac Imaging in Female Patients

Deborah Heart and Lung Center Women’s Heart Center and The Cardiovascular Institute of Philadelphia hosted the 6th Annual Role of Cardiac Imaging in the Female Patients on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton in Mt. Laurel.

This accredited continuing medical education symposium drew together leading regional and national cardiovascular experts to explore issues unique to females facing cardiac issues. The event was directed by Renee Bullock-Palmer, MD, Director of the Women’s Heart Center at Deborah.

Five panels focused on Pregnancy and the Heart; Pregnancy and Valvular Heart Disease; Emerging Presentations of Heart Disease in Women; the Role of Nuclear Cardiology and CT in the Female Patient; using Echo to Assess Pulmonary Hypertension, and Left Ventricular Assist Devices. Other distinguished specialists from Deborah who presented included Kulpreet Barn, MD, Deborah’s Medical Director of the Heart Failure Program.
