About Us
Established in 1974, the Deborah Hospital Foundation serves as the primary fundraising arm of the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, a distinguished medical facility specializing in cardiac, pulmonary, and vascular care located in Browns Mills, Burlington County, New Jersey.
Annually, the Deborah Foundation relies on the support of individuals, corporations, foundations, and membership organizations to maintain the life-saving treatments and services offered by the Center. With the honor of receiving a 4-STAR rating from Charity Navigator, the Foundation takes pride in its responsible management of funds entrusted to it by donors.
Since its inception in 1922, the Deborah Center has never charged a patient for medical care rendered at its facility at 200 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, New Jersey. While insurance is accepted, patients do not face co-pays, deductibles, balance bills, or any out-of-pocket expenses for their treatment. The Deborah Foundation seeks to relieve the financial burden of healthcare for its patients, so that they may make medical decisions without undue consideration for their personal finances. The Foundation’s generous Family of Donors has sustained this remarkable altruistic legacy for more than a century.
