National Nurses Week Celebration at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in 2007 was a very special time for our nursing professionals, and for Philanthropist James Klinghoffer, who was awarded the President’s Medal by John R. Ernst, Deborah’s President and CEO, in recognition of his generous support to Deborah’s Nursing Scholarship Program, initiated in 2002. Mr. Klinghoffer was only the second honoree in Deborah’s history to receive this prestigious award. The Klinghoffer Family was also honored by Deborah Hospital Foundation at National Philanthropy Day 2006 in Philadelphia in recognition of their numerous charitable endeavors within the community.
