Corporate and Foundation Giving

DEBORAH Hospital Foundation’s annual revenues reflect gifts of all levels from corporations and foundations across the country. For your convenience we have our Annual Report available on our website for you to preview as well as a listing of Corporations and Foundations that have supported us. Included in that list are companies that participate in our Matching Gift program.

Corporate Giving

The trend of major corporations today encourages their employees to recommend their favorite charities for outright gifts. Corporate philanthropy not only provides funding for DEBORAH, but also enhances the company’s image in their community. Corporations contribute through a Corporate Giving Program, their Corporate Foundation, or in-kind Gifts.

Wawa Incorporated
On Thursday, November 18, 2010, Wawa, Inc., nominated by DEBORAH Hospital Foundation, was awarded the honor of Outstanding Corporation of the Year bye the New Jersey Southern Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.  Eight representatives from Wawa, as well as Joseph Chirichella, President & CEO for DEBORAH Heart and Lung Center, and Joseph Manni, Vice President of Operations for DEBORAH Heart and Lung Center/COO for DEBORAH Hospital Foundation, were on hand to celebrate this monentous achievement.  Many of the non-profit organizations represented at this second annual event for the New Jersey Southern Chapter have been grateful recipients of the generosity of Wawa, resulting in a rousing round of applause for this community-minded corporation.
