Shower of Stars Hits the Stage
An Afternoon of Music and Comedy to Benefit the DEBORAH Hospital Foundation
BOCA RATON (January 5, 2009) – On Sunday, February 8, a host of stars hits the stage at the Olympic Heights High School for an entertaining afternoon of laughter and songs. Among the noted headliners are Eddie Michaels, well known vocalist and entertainer; Kenny Adams, comedian extraordinaire; and the Sensations, who promise to leave you asking for more.
The Shower of Stars event, a benefit for the DEBORAH Hospital Foundation, kicks off at 2:00 p.m. Proceeds from the event benefit DEBORAH Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ, a specialty heart, lung, and vascular hospital which in almost 87 years has never given a bill to patient and has given care regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.
Organizers of the event said that the performers bring a little bit of Broadway and Hollywood to Florida.
“We are thrilled to be hosting this event again this year,” said Muriel Greenstein, Regional Liaison and President of the Huntington Lakes Chapter. “Not only will everyone have a terrific time, but you’ll be helping a very good cause.”
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by calling 561-637-0418. Olympic Heights High School, 20101 Lyons Road, Boca Raton, is two blocks north of Glades Road.
