These awards are presented annually to those outstanding Chapter members who have demonstrated their willingness to participate in the Chapter's fund-raising and other activities. Completed Meritorious Award Forms must be submitted to the Regional office by February 20.

It is suggested that these awards be presented in the order of importance outlined below. Several of these awards (as indicated) are presented on a one time only basis.

We have listed them on a scale of one to ten, ten being the highest award given by a Chapter.

1. Enameled Logo Service Pin (5 may be presented)
   
   This award is given as a token of appreciation for assisting in the various activities of the Chapter. It is suggested that this be distributed to a member who has not received any other recognition previously.
   
   
2. Certificate of Merit (2 may be given)
   
   This award denotes outstanding volunteerism by a member(s)
   
   
3. Certificate of Appreciation (2 may be given)
   
   This is presented as a show of appreciation for the member's assistance throughout the year.
   
   
4. Certificate of Recognition (2 may be given)
   
   This denotes outstanding achievement by a member(s) within the year.
   
   
5. Heart of Gold Certificate (2 may be given)
   
   This honors an individual(s) who has shown willingness to assist wherever and whenever asked to do so.
   
   
6. Grateful Appreciation Plaque (5 X 7) (2 may be given)
   
   This plaque expresses appreciation to those members who have shown interest and willingness to assist in the working of the Chapter.
   
   
7. Recognition Plaque (5 X 7) (2 may be given)
   
   This plaque is designed to recognize members who have given outstanding service to the Chapter.
   
   
8. Scrolled Motto Plaque (1 to be given)
   
   This plaque is presented to that member whose actions personify the DEBORAH motto.
   
   
9. Chapter Super Star (1 to be presented on one as time only basis)
   
   This is usually the choice of the Chapter President who can best determine the one member who has consistently shown a willingness to be of assistance in all phases of the Chapter.
   
   
10. Meritorious Gold Award
    
    

    Women	- Gold Clover
    Men	- Gold Oval Onyx Ring With Logo

    
    This award is presented to either man or a woman who has demonstrated exemplary volunteerism in a Chapter throughout the year. This award can be presented to any one individual only once a year.
    
    With all the above awards it is understood that elected officers are not eligible for these awards on the sole basis of their serving in a specific Chapter office.
